Information & Advice
The Information and Advice Service from Age Concern Gateshead:.jpg)
Our service is free and confidential offering a range of information and advice.
The service is open to anyone over the age of 50 living in Gateshead or making enquiries on behalf of a person fitting this category.
We offer home visits for the housebound, as well as drop-in sessions and appointments if needed. We can do talks for groups of older people and regularly arrange or take part in events around the borough.
Drop-in sessions are held in our Resource & Information Centre on Gateshead High Street at the following times:
Tues & Thurs 10am-3.30pm
Mon, Weds & Fri - Closed
Feel free to pop in and we'll do our best to help you whatever your query or problem. If you would prefer, contact us by telephone on 0191 477 3559 and ask to speak to an Advice worker.
Help is available on most topics but especially benefits, debt, disability, housing and care issues. Should we be unable to deal with your enquiry, we will refer you to someone who can.
